Identical twin Chrissy Sinclair sometimes wishes she were born alone...just like everyone else. Her twin sister Julie is gorgeous, organized, a straight-A student, and popular... everything Chrissy is not.

When the twins find a portal on a school field trip and are transported to the magical Islands of Orcadia, they are plunged into an ages-long battle between the peaceful selkies of Salhadun and the eel-like Longfins. On their quest, the twins are separated by a terrible storm, and somehow Chrissy must find the missing selkie prince, protect Salhadun, find Julie, get them both home and discover her purpose.
