Beth Yoakum

From an early age, Beth wanted to experience the world outside her small-town in Michigan. She found that books were the key to learning about people and other cultures. Decades later, after traveling extensively, (and discovering that God's world and His people are indeed enchanting!), she continues to enjoy the comfort and solace that books offer, but also the outlet of writing. Beth shares book reviews on Goodreads and on Instagram @unbridledreader and has published short story and creative non-fiction stories in various literary magazines. The longer form of the novel is her preferred format, and she has written two novels. The first is loosely based on Beth's life in her early 20's and the ways in which God never left her side despite her extremely poor decision making. The second is a cozy fantasy based in Ireland that doles out second chances to a pair of widowed friends (with the help of a little magic).
